To the north of the townhouse is the unspoilt blue flag beaches of Guardamar ( 30 minute drive ) surrounded in pine trees.

Further down the coast is the lively town of Torrevieja (20 minute drive ) and its blue flag beaches, designer shops, restaurants, pubs, markets, cinema, aqua park & marina. Pink Flamingoes feed & rest on its healthy famous salt lakes.

Following down the coast is the exclusive Mar Menor ( 20 minute drive ) 'minor sea' with its famous 'La Manga strip' holiday homes & marina for the stars. Its sport club has 17 tennis courts & a 27 hole golf club.

Inland we have the tranquil town of Murcia ( 1 hour drive ) with its history in cathedrals. The segura river runs through the town.

Benidorm is a ( 1 hour drive) away with the 'Terra Matika' theme park.

Further afield but reachable is the Sierra Nevada mountains ( 2 hour drive ).

Nearest blue flag beach to Cabo Roig is Campoamor with its strip lined with bars & restaurants. Its broad palm-lined avenues are ideal for romantic walks.This area also has horse riding, fishing, go-karting, salsa dancing and 3 top golf courses Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, la Finca, La Manga.
